Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4 and HANA Basis administration, maintenance, and support. As an integral part of our organization, the SAP Basis Consultant will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our SAP landscape.

  • 2+ years of SAP Basis administration experience
  • Ready to work in shifts (24 x 7)
  • hands on ECC & SAP HANA administration
  • Strong troubleshooting experience on SAP S/4HANA administration (basis administration tasks)
  • Hands on experience on Linux operating system
  • Good communication (written and oral) skills
  • SAP HANA S/4 installation, configuration & administration on Premises.
  • SAP HANA S/4 installation, configuration & administration on Amazon cloud services (AWS)
  • HANA Database administration 1 and 2 release
  • HANA ECC ERP to SAP HANA S/4 1909 conversion
  • SAP ERP EHP8 installation and configuration and administration
  • Solution manager 7.0 & 7.2 installation and configuration and administration
  • Single Sign-On 3.0 with Kerberos/SPNego, SAML with ADFS & SAP IDP
  • SAP FIORI installation and configuration and administration
  • SAP Business Objects 4.0 & 4.2 ( BOBJ) installation and configuration and administration
  • SAP Screen Persona installation and configuration
  • Well versed with business processes in distribution area of utilities
  • SAP ERP Unicode upgrades
  • Solution Manager upgrades
  • Amazon cloud services administration (Instance administrations on EC2)
  • SAP Basis certification is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 24 x 7 – offshore support ( Only Onsite Thane office)
  • Strong troubleshooting experience on SAP S/4HANA administration (basis administration tasks)
  • Hands on experience on Linux operating system
  • hands on SAP HANA administration
  • Good Oral communication/presentation skills required
  • MS-Azure cloud administration will be an added advantage
  • Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems, including ECC, BW, CRM, Solution Manager, and other SAP applications
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and enhancements in accordance with best practices and business requirements
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability of SAP systems
  • Conduct regular system health checks, system refreshes, and backups to safeguard data integrity and disaster recovery capabilities
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to support ongoing projects, system integrations, and new implementations
  • Provide technical support for SAP Basis-related incidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, and best practices for SAP Basis operations
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, SAP releases, and advancements in SAP Basis technology to recommend and implement improvements

Any Graduate
