AVP Channel Development And Channel Sales
- Developing channel business model in line with organizational strategy, develop partner program, on-board channel partners across India.
- Should have experience in handling following activities:
- Establish Channel Model for GeoCivic in India
- Channel takes on the implementation
- Access to Esri/Autodesk/Hexagon/MSFT VARs & Resellers
- Knows SIs in geography, Local Government Business expertise
- Specialist Channel Partners
- Agreements, documentation, Ecosystem
- Infra Builders and Lenders
- Survey and Land Record Companies
- Identifies and approaches key or strategic partners and sets short- and long-term channel strategies
- Manages a team of channel sales representatives to achieve sales and profit goals by selling products and services through resellers/channels.
- Channel forecasting and reporting to the Management
- Leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
- Sells through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
- Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
- Maintains a sound understanding of the business goals and strategies, products, markets, customers, competitive situations and key players related to our products; makes recommendations on profit and service improvements.
- Understands the customer, their market, their strategy and offers products in line with customer’s brand strategy.
- Participates in industry events to network and build brand presence.
- Develop and support annual brand strategy and budget process and market development projects.
- Develop and maintain new market launch and brand presentation.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of markets’ macro-economic, social and political environments, competitors’ products and services and channel innovations.
- Actively work with the senior leaders, customers, and industry associations to gain insightful knowledge of current and emerging marketplace trends and needs.
- Experience with leading discussions with potential partners, building business cases, presenting and qualifying solutions.
- Excellence analytical thinker with superior managerial, organizational, forecasting, relationship building abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience in handling Government business and reach to Govt. channel partner
Technical Skills
- Excellent business acumen and business development skills, rounded business experience and good negotiation and people skills.
- Experience building and executing marketing and sales plans.
- Successful in managing a, building and developing successful channel and reseller teams.
- Experience in a matrix management, for profit organization.
